Years ago, a good friend and I decided we wanted to get into archery. And no, it had nothing to do with wanting to be a bad ass like Katniss Everdeen… though really she is a bad ass. Honestly, most of the appeal is about being outdoors and providing food for my family. I like to bird hunt with my shotgun but am not much for shooting rifles. Shooting a bow, that was way more fun. I got to shoot a friends one day, and that truly sold me on the deal.
It’s been years of talking, but never having the time to commit or the money to get started. I’m a full time working mom of two little girls. Finding the time to shower some days is a challenge!
But it’s time to do this.
I am committing to this. Its my time. I’m going to set goals. And smash them. Join me on this journey. Learn with me. Grow with me. Hunt with me.
